YOU ARE MOST WELCOME JUSTIN!
WE ALL HAVE "MOMENTS" WHERE WE ((FEEL)) THE PEACE THAT SURPASSES UNDERSTANDING IN OUR LIVES. AND WE KNOW THAT PEACE, CALM, COMFORT, AND ENCOURAGEMENT COMES FROM JESUS HOLY SPIRIT LIVING WITHIN US.
JUST REMEMBER...WE ARE NOT SAVED BY FEELING SAVED. FEELING FORGIVEN. FEELING LOVED BY JESUS.
FEELINGS HAVE LITTLE TO DO WITH OUR SALVATION WALK WITH JESUS...IT IS BY FAITH KNOWING...
IT IS KNOWING AND TRUSTING IN OUR JESUS AND HIS WORD.
when those down times come Justin and you feel like your not worthy or whatever trouble that faces you--I highly suggest listening to some Christian music. A Jesus song in your head can do wonders in helping to give strength. The music and this site have been a great blessing to helping keep going forward --I pray it helps you too!
I am still standing on the wording of "saved again" not right...but to need to redicate, to be born again and put a new life into your relationship with God is certaining a blessing and prayer that can be worked on. Accepting Jesus grace is a process. Study Jesus' word daily-meditate on it. pick a bible verse a day and repeat it to yourself over and over. pray often---try to get in a routein such as "every coffee break I will say a short prayer" "while I am on the road I will say a short prayer" "every time I stand up from sitting I will thank God for something" make some goals in your process to increase the relationship. The prayer at the alter isn't as important as your desire to put it to work and keep trying. Justin, we are here for you and will keep praying. Keep coming here and updating us so we can continue to give you encouragement.
Remember that a big part of prayer is listening.
I recently heard an explanation on that very point that I liked. imagine if you were the doctor and a patient came to you and said, my back hurts, I am in pain all day, heacaches all the time. Sick to my stomach, am dizzy and I am tired all the time. ok thank you and headed to the door as you said, excuse me don't you want to hear what I have to say? We cannot be healed of our past without listening and following.

The artist has honestly explained what a sinner he once was. He was a "rock star"-not huge but he was drawn into that life. He is in the process of healing and he is an expiring example of turning your life around. I hope he can touch your heart
