As some of you know I fell hit my head on something, Knocked my glasses of, We never were able to locate them, I fact I didn't have any recollection past walking away from wife until I got back home a couple hours later. As near as I can figure I blacked out for a couple of hours and when I came to, I must have been still out of it after getting home for I remember not a thing from like 5 pm to I'm guessing around dusk which here is near 7 pm, I barely remember tell my wife I needed to check to see if anyone happened to leave any pieces of Privacy Lattice near or in the dumpsters, Which were only about 50 feet away from where I left her, Because her leg was hurting and she wanted to go home. So she told me to go around and not though someones yard, Which I don't normally do. She said I got bulidurant and walked away.
I don't remember anything at all from that point until I arrived back at the house, Even then I only remembered bits and pieces. Charline called the neighbor lady to check me out, I could not remember Charline's birthday, My daughter called I could not remember her birthday and when the Aid car got there, They ask me a bunch of simple stuff, By then I remembered who was President and what day of the week it was, So I spent two nights in Observation, Had 2 MRI's, The second one because they saw a small brain bleed which they wanted to make sure it was gone and a CT scan to make sure there was no stroke, All was good, It was a wake up call, I thought I had it handled.
Prognosis is only follow ups with Cardiology and Primary, I have a 12" scrape on my arm and a 1" cut on my nose and a goose egg above my right eye, The good thing is I had no pain associated with any of this, I guess no Brains No Pains, LOL
GOODNESS GRACIOUS LARRY! WELL I HAVE BEEN ADDING YOU IN WITH THE CSN PRAYER WARRIORS PRAYERS FOR YOUR CHARLINE...NOW I KNOW WHY! THAT SMALL BRAIN BLEED, CONCUSSION, AND INJURY TO THE NOSE WILL GIVE PEOPLE SHORT TERM MEMORY LOSS OF THE ACCIDENT. ONCE COHERENCE RETURNS THEY CAN REMEMBER BEFORE THE ACCIDENT BUT RARELY THE ACCIDENT ITSELF. SOME SAY THAT IS THE BRAIN PROTECTING US FROM THE FEAR WE FELT IN THAT BLINK OF TIME BEFORE IT HAPPENED. I WILL BE PRAYING THAT YOU ARE CLEARED WITH YOUR DOCTORS AND PRAY THAT YOU HEAL WELL. AND MY MOM SAID OF ME, WHEN I CLIMBED TO THE TOP OF A 200 YEAR OLD OAK TREE THAT WAS 100 FEET HIGH, AND THEN I SLIPPED AND FELL TO THE GROUND ON MY BACK/HEAD...I REMEMBERED NONE OF THE ACCIDENT EITHER. WHEN THEN THE DOCTORS FINISHED ALL THEIR TESTS AND DEEMED ME OKAY BUT FOR GOOSE EGGS, BLACK EYES, AND BRUISED BACK...THAT I MUST HAVE FALLEN ON MY ROCK HARD HEAD AND THAT SAVED MY LIFE!
Thank you all for your prayers, I was released yesterday, They kept me one extra day since they saw a small bleed in the brain, The second CT Scan showed no evidence of a stroke and the MRI's came back clear, Other than the scratch on the bridge of my nose and a little tenderness where I banged my forehead, I'm no worst for wear, Just thankful it wasn't any worst and there are no lasting or ongoing problems other than realizing I'm no longer able to say I have it handled, My wife now has to watch me like a hawk, If I go outside she is quick to check on me, Even my daughter yesterday as she was driving away from the house was watching in her rearview mirror and when I crossed the street to converse with my neighbor she immediately called my wife to check on me, But thats good, They are watch out for me, Never had an experence such as this, I literally had no control over what I was doing and no concenceness from the second I turned and walked away from my wife until I returned home, That was the scarry part, My wife said she never saw me take off in such a fast pace, I'm sure I must have stumbled over something head long into something, Thankfully God was watching over me
