WE AVERAGE 33 TROPICAL STORMS, 65 TORNADOES A SEASON HERE. FLOODING POTENTIAL AS WELL. WE PREPARE FOR THE WORST, HOPE FOR THE BEST. IF IT VEERS EAST WE WILL GET MISSED AND MIGHT GET A BIT OF WIND, WAVES, AND RAIN.

They're still rare but we're getting more. 2 years ago we had 3 in one night. We get the remnants of some hurricanes especially if they track up the Mississippi. Usually just rain and a bit of wind. No real damage I one tracks up the eastern seaboard and hits the Maritimes it can be pretty strong. We pay for it with winter. Usually 3 or 4 feet of snow and probably some freezing rain mixed in for fun. It can get down to 40 below and in Canada we're in the deep south

It extends north through the sub arctic and Arctic zones to the north Pole. This means most of us get 4 seasons with lots of snow in the winter. We are definitely not a tropical climate but we do get the remnants of the odd hurricane. Usually just a day of rain.
